TERMS & CONDITIONS
All guests of The Beachlands Hotel shall be subject to the following Terms and Conditions: -
NO-SMOKING POLICY:
The Beachlands Hotel operates a strict no smoking policy in all indoor areas of the hotel, in line
with current legislation. Failure to comply with this policy will result in an automatic charge being
applied to the guest’s credit card. The charge is to cover the cost of cleaning said room/area. Guests
will also be instructed to vacate the premises immediately.
MIS-USE OF DRUGS POLICY:
The hotel operates a zero-tolerance policy with regards to the use of recreational drugs. Any guest
suspected of such use, will be required to vacate the premises immediately with no refund of any
monies received in relation to pre-payment and may incur a cleaning charge, should the room need
deep cleaning, ready for the next guest.
DAMAGE TO HOTEL PROPERTY:
Any damages caused to hotel property (Including fixtures and fittings) will be charged to guest
credit card, where payment will be required in full.
GUESTS USE OF HOTEL:
Guests of the hotel must comply with all Licensing, Health and Safety and other regulations relating
to the Hotel / Hotel Car Park & Grounds.
Guests are not to carry out any electrical work on the hotel without consent from the hotel
manager.
Guests must not bring dangerous or hazardous items into the Hotel.
NO PET POLICY:
The hotel does not allow pets in the hotel. If any guests is found failing to comply with this policy,
this will result in an automatic charge being applied to the guest’s credit card. The charge is to cover
the cost of cleaning said room/area.
CANCELLATION BY THE BEACHLANDS HOTEL:
The Beachlands Hotel reserves the right to Cancel any booking: -
1.
If the Hotel, or part, is closed due to circumstances beyond its control.
2.
If the guest/company enters in to Liquidation.
3.
If the Terms and Conditions are likely to be breached.
4.
If it may prejudic the reputation of, or cause damage to, the Beachlands Hotel.
5.
If reservations are not confirmed with a pre-payment of deposit or full bed and breakfast
charge.
In the event that any of these circumstances occur, the Beachlands Hotel may refund any payments
made in advance but will have no further liability to the client.
CANCELLATIONS BY THE GUEST:
Reservations cancelled by noon the day prior to arrival are entitled to a refund of deposit – no
further charge.
Reservations cancelled 24hrs or less – 100% anticipated charge.
CANCELLATIONS BY THE GUEST – GROUP BOOKINGS:
The hotel requires a written rooming list for accommodation, two weeks prior to the date of arrival.
Any cancellations made after this time will be charged at full rate, unless the hotel manager decides
otherwise, at their discretion.
NO SHOW:
If any guests fails to arrive and has not notified the hotel, the hotel will charge the full amount of
the anticipated reservation.
LIABILITY:
The Beachlands hotel and its staff, as well as the hotels insurers, will not be held liable for injury to
persons or damage to property (unless negligent).
The client shall accept liability for any damage caused to hotel property by themselves, their guests
or anyone attending their function. They agree to pay the Hotel the full amount required to rectify
the damage.
The Hotel advises all organisers of events to take out an insurance policy which will provide cover
for a wide range of items including accidental damage, public liability, and financial loss.
OCCUPANCY:
The maximum room occupancy is two adults. Family rooms can accommodate two adults and two
children (under the age of 16). You must not exceed the maximum occupancy for the room
allocated to you. We reserve the right to conduct checks on occupancy. Occupancy is not
transferable. Children under 16 are not permitted to stay in the hotel unless a parent or guardian
(Over the age of 18) is also staying in the hotel. We reserve the right to request valid photographic
proof of identity and age, so please bring this with you otherwise where requested you will not be
permitted to stay.
GENERAL:
The Hotel will take reasonable steps to ensure that the requirements of each reservation are met to
the best of their ability, however they reserve the right to provide alternative services of at least
equivalent standard, at no extra charge to the guest.
Alteration to these Terms and Conditions must be requested from and approved in writing by the
Hotel Manager.
The Beachlands Hotel will ensure that its advertising material is correct at the time of
posting/printing. The hotel reserves the right to alter, change or withdraw any service/offer at any
time, without notice.
COVID:
The hotel policy is to follow all government guidelines. Practices and procedures may change
without notice to our guests, in the event of updates to such guidelines, at short notice. Regardless,
we follow the highest standards of hygiene & cleanliness on a day-to-day basis within the hotel
premises and take the health & safety of both our guests and staff as top priority.
This agreement shall be subject to English Law.
